WWII WW2 Named AAF Airborne Glider Pilot Glider Pilot Uniform & Photos

Beautiful WWII Glider Pilot uniform with embroidered on felt Airborne Troop Carrier Command patch, Sterling marked I Troop Carrier Command PB DIs (hallmarked Levelle & Co., Washington DC), sterling marked pin-back Glider Pilot wings, Flight Officer rank insignia (pin-back), U.S. & AAF collar insignia, and 3-place sewn-on ribbon bar. The coat is named to J. L. Grieve and dated 8/23/44. Typical Flight Officer coat without cuff braid on sleeves. Beautiful jacket!
I found nine original b/w photos in the pocket of his coat. Some look like they were taken in North Africa or Italy and one is him wearing this uniform.
Measurements:
- Across Chest (underarm to underarm) = 19 inches
- Across Back (shoulder to shoulder) = 18 1/2 inches
- Shoulder to end of sleeve = 24 ½ inches
