    Description

Original (not reproduction) USMCWR ladies white pumps, to be worn with Women's Marine Corps summer dress uniform. Very rare. These are the exact shoe shown on the excellent BlitzkriegBaby website, under the Miscellaneous page of USMCWR uniforms. The 75-year old box and tissue paper show 7-decades of shelf wear and degradation (probably much of it at some military warehouse). Note the military-type designation on the end of the box. They show no wear, but are not pristine. Good luck finding a pair of pristine 75-year old ladies' military footwear. No attempt has been made to remove or cover any of the very small spots that appear in the photos. The white dress leather pumps have a 2-inch heel. They have a "Lastex" stretch panel on both sides of the instep. The bow on both shoes is canted towards the outside from having been compressed against the other shoe inside the box for decades. These rare shoes are marked size 9A. Shoe sizes may have changed a bit in 75 years. Please note: the actual inside measurements of these shoes are 10-1/4" long, by 3" at the widest point. If interested, please check my other listings for a second, nearly identical pair of Women's Marine Corps shoes of the same size. Should you happen to already own the rare white summer dress uniform, these white pumps would complete the display.
