WWII Era USAAF Army Air Force Type A-2 Leather Flight Jacket - Size 38 - Dated 1942 - Nice Condition
Up for sale is a WWII Era USAAF Army Air Force Type A-2 Leather Flight Jacket.  The jacket is estimated at a size 38 chest.  Actual measurement (pit to pit 20.5" & collar to bottom 25.5").  The leather is soft and supple.  No rips or tears.  Some wear through the leather on the back of the collar area, see photo.  The zipper works fine.  The wool elsatic cuffs and bottom are in good condition, showing wear but not all torn up, see photos.  Both front patch pockets have been removed.  You can still see the stitching holes in the leather from the pockets.  The tag shows a contract date of 1942.  The jacket is used, please see photos for condition.  This item is being sold "AS IS", no guarantee to fit.
This would make a great example in someone's WWII US Army Air Force Collection.
