    Description

WWII uniform set to an AAF staff sergeant in the China Burma India theater, with a cut-down Ike jacket that was tailored in-theater. Standard four pocket jacket with original patches, and does have some moth damage mostly around the bottom hem on the front. The cut down ike jacket has a few scattered moth bites but is cleaner than the four pocket, and had a distinctive handmade pronged buckle sewn on; unfortunately at some point, about half of the original patches on it were removed. I had originally planned on restoring it and keeping it in my collection, so I’ll include the replacement pieces including a CBI-made ribbon bar and shoulder patch, should you chose to restore it. The trousers (some moth bites on right leg) are the only piece physically named, but these were a direct estate purchase. Included is a printout of his 1941 high school yearbook.
Payment due in two days. Priority shipping in USA, global shipping program for international. Sold as is.
