    Description

Reversible Fur-trimmed Ski Parka - dated Nov 11, 1942 and size small by Suwe Sportwear Co.
These parkas were used heavily by the 10th mountain division and first special service force (FSSF) for both warmth and camouflage.
This particular one is in Excellent condition with the only drawback being the removal of fur collar. The fur was removed around hood (often done) and carefully stitched back together. Both cuffs and bottom show no signs of fraying and all buttons are present and functioning. Hood snaps show some metal aging on green side. White side material shows typical age yellowing and some staining, particularly around the shoulders and arms. I haven’t tried cleaning options, condition is how I purchased it around 15 years ago. The green side is near pristine and retains excellent coloring. No tears or rips.
