    Description

    (J 85) For sale here is a great looking US WW2 Army Air Force AAC Air Corps Cut Down Enlisted Radio Operator Ike Jacket.  The jacket is cut down from a Class A Uniform Jacket.  It has been modified to mimic an Ike jacket.  The jacket is named to Boticelli, M. and has a corresponding laundry mark and serial number.  The jacket is complete with Corporal's rank chevrons, Radio Operator sleeve insignia, GHQ patch with fancy white victory style stitching, 2 piece screw back AAC collar discs, 2 place clutch back ribbon bar with ETO ribbon and Air Medal Ribbon, and a good looking clutch back Sterling Air Crew Wing.  The jacket has been very nicely cut down and is complete with all buttons.  This is a great looking piece that will make for an interesting research project.
