Description
US Army Korean War M1943 pattern Field Jacket.This was the last iteration of the classic WWII 1943 field jacket just prior to the M-1951 field jacket.
This is dated 1951.
It is a small regular.
All button front closure no zipper. No exterior draw string like on the 1951 jackets.
Definitely has some holes and damage to one of the cuffs, the other one is not so bad.
Great example of a Korean War jacket.
Hard to find the postwar M-1943 jackets.

Chest, from seem to seem laid flat under armpits:
21 inches
Waist from seam to seam laid flat: 21 inches
Length, from base of collar to bottom down the back: 30 inches
Length, from center of shoulder seam down the front shoulder to bottom hem: 29 inches.
Shoulder to shoulder across the back: 19 inches
Length along arms top, from top of shoulder seem to cuff:
24 inches
Length along bottom of arms from pit to cuff: 22 inches
