    Description

Selling this nice, named private purchase blue blouse.  The Marine Corps stopped issuing dress blue uniforms for most marines during the war and this led to marines that wanted them buying them off the rack as private purchase items.  As such most were never named, and the blue uniforms were mostly worn while on leave at home.  This example is a rare one in that it's named to the marine.  He was a large man for the time, his service green blouse was a 6L.  This blouse is also unique in that the epaulets weren't sewn down as is common on enlisted blouses.  The blouse has a very nice set of matching 1937 pattern enlisted collar EGAs that to my knowledge are original to the uniform.
The blouse is being sold as a collectable item and is not sold to be worn.  There is no mothing evident on the blouse and it will display nicely for its next owner.
Selling this uniform in the US only at this time.
The items is sold as is, no returns.  Please examine the pictures and ask any questions before bidding or clicking the Buy It Now option.  Please pay within 72 hours of buying the item.  The item will ship via USPS priority mail with tracking within 48 hours of payment being received.
