General Electric"Progressland"
Cardboard Barrel from the 1964-1965 World's Fair, measuring 23" in diameter and 34" high. It is quite obviously used, and in fair condition at best. Backstory: Growing up on Long Island, my family visited the World's Fair in New York in one of those two World's Fair years. On the way out of the fair, my father saw these barrels being thrown out, and asked if he could have one for a basement trash barrel. It came back to Long Island in a blue Rambler station wagon, and has lived in a basement as a trash barrel all it's life, moving to three different houses in Pennsylvania. Although in fair condition at best, it is, as far as I can tell, one-of-a-kind; I've seen nothing like it on eBay. Having no need for it, it's time to let it go. LOCAL PICK-UP ONLY.
