Comments: * Not with Gutenberg; SELC 1, 137. - Monogrammed in the print. "Jaques Buser-Kobler (BUKO) started out as a photographer, but later became a bookseller. Enthusiastic about the heraldic, brightly colored sheets of Claude Jeanneret, he himself went over to the bookplate field. [...] In his heraldic woodcuts, the 'modernization' of the coat of arms initiated by C. Jeanneret is reinforced by omitting everything superfluous. In numerous sheets, almost all of which were made for German customers, motifs of National Socialism cannot be overlooked. BUKO created around 240 woodcut bookplates. "(Junod 1999, p. 80) - Good copy.
