After studying in Munich, Dresden and Berlin, he started working as a city planner in Düsseldorf in the mid-1920s and taught as a professor at the Technical University in Karlsruhe. He designed the library of the Deutsches Museum in Munich, but also forced labor camps in Berlin. His bookplate style is reminiscent of Gelbke. - Small remnants of assembly on the back.
