Comments: * Vollmer 1; Gutenberg 1423; Witte 62. - Monogrammed and dated in the print. Broel learns his trade with Maximilian Dasio and Hermann Groeber in Munich, belongs to the "Free Group" Düsseldorf and is a member of the Munich artists' cooperative. In 1940 he died of a severe stroke. His bookplate work comprises more than 100 sheets. In terms of motifs, he is one of the landscapers and ornamenters, many of his sheets are available with and without remarques, and there are also color variations. - Small remnants of assembly on the back.
